The News

After 289 gigs the Hatters have finally decided to call it a day.

We have not taken this decision lightly but the general feeling is that after 11 years it is time to move on. Many of us have increasing commitments to family, other bands and other interests and it has been proving difficult to get all 9 of us together sufficiently often to progress and develop any more as a band.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our fans for their support and enthusiasm over the years.

We all enjoyed our special Christmas Extravaganza at the Portland Rock Bar. Thanks to all who turned up to see this, our farewell gig. Thanks also to Matt and Claire; it was great fun to play in an 11 piece band, and this was a first for most of us. A few people were taking photos and the first few of these have now been uploaded (the photos, not the people). More will be added over the next few weeks, so keep looking!
